IP Video Conferencing Live! (Abbreviation IPVCL)
is a P2P video chat and sharing system with high efficiency, that enables users to have
visual/audio communication with 15 friends max from around the globe in a single screen.
With IPVCL, you can have video chat with your friends, share your favorite pictures and
videos and even your desktop.
IPVCL maximizes the efficiency of your network utilization. Via high intelligent
line status detection and self adaptation technique, IPVCL provides real time control over
video quality during the meeting, from low definition to high definition. With years of streaming
experience, we have our unique optimizations against lossy network environment with poor
bandwidth, latency and jitter. Users are able to have smooth video conference even with
bandwidth as low as 10KByte/s.
Taking advantages from our especial P2P routing strategy, IPVCL brings best video
meeting experience with lowest server cost. Unlike most centralized video conference systems
(Cisco Unified Videoconferencing, ooVoo, Flash Media Server, Vidyo), in IPVCL user's video
stream doesn't have to go through the server. No multipoint control unit (MCU) or multipoint
video mixer is necessary. Thus both server hardware cost and bandwidth cost is saved.
The IPVCL client works in a form of Windows component. It can either be wrapped in a
desktop application, or run in web browsers as a plugin. Most popular web browsers are
supported currently, including Internet Explorer, Mozilla FireFox, Google
Chrome, Safari and Opera.
